A journey of nearly 20 years building dreams, shaping champions, and creating a unique sports family.
Timeline
THE BEGINNINGS
A group of friends gathered at "La Cantera" park and trained cheer on foam mats.
FIRST LOCATION
The first gym opens at Privada Cedro 12 de Junio, with only 7 mat lanes.
IMPROVEMENTS
The first 7 podium lanes are installed.
WORLDS
Olympus attended the Worlds championship for the first time with the OMEGA cheer team.
AMERICAS LOCATION
Expansion prompted a new location, increasing the gym's capacity.
PERIFÉRICO-EGIPTO LOCATION
The Americas location was downsized to open a second branch along Periférico de la Juventud.
WORLD CHAMPIONS
The gym's school teams win the high school world championship.
LOCATION CLOSURE
In January 2019, the Periférico-Egipto branch had to be closed.
PANDEMIC
Due to the circumstances brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, we were forced to temporarily close the academy.
RETURN TO NORMAL
Activities resume inside the gym while searching for a new facility.
IMPROVEMENTS
We moved to a new facility and added artistic gymnastics to our programs.
COMPLETE EQUIPMENT
All women's and men's artistic gymnastics equipment was gradually acquired.
PRESENT DAY
Olympus is currently documenting all relevant organizational processes to systematize and standardize operations. The aerial silks discipline has also been added.
THE BEGINNINGS
A group of friends gathered at "La Cantera" park and trained cheer on foam mats.
It all started with the passion of a group of young people who met at the park to train. No formal facilities, but plenty of determination.
